Explore jeep safaris or elephant safaris in Chitwan to view wildlife like one-horned rhinos, deer, crocodiles, and, with some luck, perhaps Royal Bengal Tigers. A calm canoe boat ride in Chitwan gives you the chance to spot many birds and crocodiles from the banks of the Rapti River. The expertise and knowledge of naturalists would enrich your jungle-guided walk, teaching and showing you plants and animals in the park.

Day 01 :

Welcome to the Wild: in Chitwan's Jungle Paradise

Your Chitwan wildlife safari package begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara down to the lush lowland plains of Chitwan. Here, we extend a warm welcome and assist you in a transfer to your jungle resort.

After settling into your resort, a scrumptious buffet would be presented for your lunch, made of locally sourced ingredients so as to prepare you for the activities ahead.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk in a Tharu village, where you will be exposed to the culture and lifestyle of the native Tharu people, as well as their architecture. Marvel at the picturesque sunset from the peaceful riverside or afar from a viewpoint as night sets in.

Then comes dinner, a perfect time to relish Nepali and local Tharu cuisine. Feel the excitement twice as you watch a rich cultural industry with a stick dance performed by the Tharus in the evening, or retire early to soak it all in tomorrow night.

Day 02 :

Wildlife Encounters and Jungle Exploration

Enjoy a 4-day Chitwan jungle safari with hearty breakfasts for days, setting the stage for another thrilling day of forest exploration. Watch away on the banks of the Rapti River, and attend to birdwatching as the forest wakes and calls in the morning, topped with a beautiful, serene canoe ride on the river.

It took us almost 9 hours to reach Chitwan because of the landslide and crazy traffic. Rather than that everything else was perfect!

Even though I visited Chitwan National Park during off season, it was beautiful and I had a great time. The jungle was green and lush and seems to be alive. I did two safaris 1 in the afternoon and one in the morning. Both were operated in community forests since the National Park was closed but according to my guide animal sightings are equal in both the national park safari community forest safari so it was a relief. I also saw a lot of animals- saw at least 13 rhinos, saw all the deer species, plenty of birds, A leopard and A sloth bear. Tigers however, were impossible to see in the tall grasses.

Our journey begin with a tourist bus transfer to Chitwan and on the last stop the company representative was there for pickup.
