The expertise and knowledge of naturalists would enrich your jungle-guided walk, teaching and showing you plants and animals in the park.
Bathing the elephants is permitted in the Elephant Breeding Centre and is actually encouraged. In addition to viewing the wildlife, you can interact with the locals of Chitwan on the village tour that includes the indigenous Tharu people.

Detailed Itinerary of Chitwan Chitwan Adventure Tour
Your Chitwan wildlife safari package begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara down to the lush lowland plains of Chitwan. Here, we extend a warm welcome and assist you in a transfer to your jungle resort.
After settling into your resort, a scrumptious buffet would be presented for your lunch, made of locally sourced ingredients so as to prepare you for the activities ahead.
In the afternoon, take a guided walk in a Tharu village, where you will be exposed to the culture and lifestyle of the native Tharu people, as well as their architecture. Marvel at the picturesque sunset from the peaceful riverside or afar from a viewpoint as night sets in.
Then comes dinner, a perfect time to relish Nepali and local Tharu cuisine. Feel the excitement twice as you watch a rich cultural industry with a stick dance performed by the Tharus in the evening, or retire early to soak it all in tomorrow night.
Enjoy a 4-day Chitwan jungle safari with hearty breakfasts for days, setting the stage for another thrilling day of forest exploration. Watch away on the banks of the Rapti River, and attend to birdwatching as the forest wakes and calls in the morning, topped with a beautiful, serene canoe ride on the river.
The afternoon is followed by a guided jungle walk that gives an opportunity to learn more from firsthand experience about the local flora and fauna. Learn more about elephant safaris, as Chitwan serves as a centre for elephant conservation and care at the Elephant Breeding Centre.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in a scenic natural setting. Choose an elephant-back safari for a more gentle experience or a jeep safari for an exciting afternoon deep in the jungles. End your day with a light dinner at the resort, where you can share stories and memories of the thrilling wildlife tour in Nepal.
Your Jeep safari in Chitwan National Park begins early in the morning, deep in the jungle, to uncover the hidden wildlife treasures of Chitwan. With naturalists as your knowledgeable guides, you will have the opportunity to see rhinos, deer, wild boars, and various bird species – or even a Royal Bengal tiger if you're lucky. After your safari, return to the resort for a fulfilling breakfast.
Enjoy a lunch with delicious local fare at your pace, then follow it up with an afternoon designed by your desires itself – either roaming the lovely little town of Sauraha, shopping around, learning about the local wares, or just chilling at Sunset View Point by the Rapti River and letting dusk seep into you.
As dusk descends and the bright day fades, watch the stars glimmer over the warm dinner, now with memories of thrilling wildlife views and absorbing cultural experiences that have made your Chitwan jungle tour itinerary memorable.
The Chitwan safari tour's ultimate day began with an early wake-up to enjoy the peace in Chitwan. Have a hearty breakfast back at the resort and think about all the memorable experiences that marked your tour and gave it an identity. Check out at the resort after breakfast and prepare for the departure. The team will assist you in your departure and conclude your Chitwan stay.
The ride back to either Kathmandu or Pokhara will be filled with the treasured memories of jungle safaris, Tharu culture, and pristine landscapes, all of which have enriched this wildlife adventure. We conclude the Chitwan jungle tour with an abundance of unforgettable memories.

By Federico Santoz November 7, 2025 Awesome hospitalityWe went on a 3 nights Chitwan adventure tour with Chitwan safari adventure during November 1st week. What stood out most for me was the hospitality. Everyone was welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. The food was served buffet-style with plenty of options, and everything tasted fresh. After a full day of activities, coming back to a comfortable room surrounded by nature felt perfect. But we highly suggest you to choose flight as a transport because sometime the traffic is crazy. It took us almost 9 hours to reach Chitwan because of the landslide and crazy traffic. Rather than that everything else was perfect!Date of Experience: November 02, 2025 -

The jungle was green and lush and seems to be alive. I did two safaris 1 in the afternoon and one in the morning. Both were operated in community forests since the National Park was closed but according to my guide animal sightings are equal in both the national park safari community forest safari so it was a relief. I also saw a lot of animals- saw at least 13 rhinos, saw all the deer species, plenty of birds, A leopard and A sloth bear. Tigers however, were impossible to see in the tall grasses.Date of Experience: July 10, 2025 -
