    Jungle safari and cultural experience

    On the second day, the itinerary begins with a Jeep Safari at 6:30 AM. You cross the Rapti River by boat and start your journey from Bhimle post, following one of three different routes selected by the naturalist depending upon animal activity. Enjoy jungle breakfast in a calm and picturesque location. After the safari, you have time to relax at the pool or go for a spa before lunch at 1:00 PM.

    At 2:00 PM, you can choose between a guided nature walk in Chitwan National Park, which includes visiting oxbow lakes and wildlife sightings, or a short village walk to explore the Tharu community. End your afternoon program with an hour or two of relaxation back at your lodge, with more pool and spa time, if interested.

If you decide on the morning boat safari, you will be served tea or coffee before gently drifting for close to an hour down the Rapti River toward the western edge of the park near Himalayan Narayani.

    Then drive back or return to the lodge for a somewhat relaxed breakfast around 8:30 AM at Banyan Café, poolside, or by the river (seasonal). The rest of your morning and early afternoon is free to chill by the pool, hit the spa, or grab a couple of massages.

    Lunch will be served at 1:00 PM. Then, watch the Tharu or Kumal cultural dance performance, which begins at 7:00 PM. Around 8:00 PM, there will be a farewell dinner underneath the lantern lights on the bush terrace—from here, midday to sunset, marking a classy conclusion to your jungle journey.
